Holland Harper LLP steps in as new sponsor for Battle Cricket Club

Accountancy firm Holland Harper LLP will be the main shirt sponsor for Battle Cricket Club for the 2026 season, reinforcing its commitment to supporting community sport and local organisations.

The partnership marks the return of a Battle-based sponsor for the club, something both organisations believe is key to promoting community spirit and participation in Battle. The sponsorship will help fund improvements to the club’s facilities, coaching, and the junior development programme.

Battle Cricket Club Chairperson Steve Huggins said: “We are delighted that Holland Harper LLP has agreed to be our main shirt sponsor for next season – it’s great to have a local sponsor again. Their generous sponsorship will make it possible for us to improve our cricket club and keep it active within the Battle community. Their contribution will provide a positive impact for all of the teams and facilities, but especially the junior members of the club as we all move forward into next season.”

Battle Cricket Club, which has been part of the town’s history since 1875, runs two Saturday league sides, a Sunday friendly team and a thriving youth section for players aged 8 to 16. The club is known for its welcoming and inclusive approach, offering cricket for all abilities – from beginners to competitive players. Many of its young players progress through the ranks to adult cricket and the club continues to invest in its future with Level 4 coaching, indoor winter training at Battle Sports Centre and plans to redevelop its pavilion and communal areas.
