Parker & Son Highly Commended in Construction Industry Awards

Battle-based business Parker & Son was awarded Highly Commended in the Best Building Contractor category at this year's Construction Awards of Excellence organised by the National Federation of Builders (NFB).

The Best Building Contractor award, sponsored by the NASC, was won by competitor Alfred Flett. However, the judges struggled to determine a clear winner so decided to also award Parker & Son Highly Commended. 

Managing Director at Parker & Son James Parker said: “It’s fantastic that a small family-run business in the South Coast of England gets recognised with a national Highly Commended award. This award is dedicated to the whole team for making this happen.”

Project Manager Rick Kirk added: “I’d like to say thank you very much to all the boys on the road and all the girls in the office and, obviously, our great leader James.”

These prestigious awards, held on November 6th 2025, at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham celebrated the skill, dedication and pride shown by individuals and organisations throughout the UK construction industry.
