TV and radio coverage for Catsfield

Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm has received some great coverage for its Christmas Tree Throwing Competition on both TV and radio.

The event, held on Sunday 20th November 2022, attracted a large group of competitors, including the two winners:

  • Men: Tadas Zakevicius from Seaford

  • Ladies: Vicky Reeves from Battle

The farm's owner, Clive Collins, appeared on BBC Radio Sussex's Breakfast show on Friday and Monday to discuss the event. Click here to hear the Monday show (start at 1 hr 56 mins).

During the day, local student Jack White took footage of the event, which has now been used by the farm and ITV Meridian News. Click here to see the footage on ITV Meridian or here to see the full video.

Jack has also produced a drone video of the plantation, which can be viewed here.

Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm has been operating in East Sussex for over 30 years and has one simple mission – to provide the best-quality trees in Sussex at the best possible prices. At the farm’s festive shop, you can buy everything for on and around your festive tree. The team understands the importance of good customer service and delivering the complete Christmas experience to customers.

Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm opens on Friday 18th November and is open every day (8am on Saturday and Sunday and 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday).

The farm will donate 25p for every tree that’s sold to local scouting groups.
