Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm shortlisted for prestigious award

Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm has been named a finalist in the Small Business of the Year category at the 2022 Sussex Business Awards.

​

Now in their thirty-third year, these prestigious awards celebrate the best business leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs in Sussex. The Small Business of the Year award recognises companies with a turnover below £500,000 that can demonstrate outstanding achievements in all aspects of their organisation.

Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm owner Clive Collins said: “2022 has been a great year for the farm and being shortlisted for this award is just the cherry on the cake. Sussex isn’t just the county in which we work, it is where we live. My family and I have real bond with Sussex and so it is a great privilege to be recognised in this way by the Sussex business community.”

 

Being shortlisted for the Small Business of the Year award completes a successful year for Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm in terms of business awards. In June, Clive was named one of the winners at the Stelios Awards for Disabled Entrepreneurs, jointly run by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation and Leonard Cheshire.

Winners of the 2022 Sussex Business Awards will be announced at a gala event held at The Grand Brighton on 1st December 2022. The evening will be hosted by TV presenter and journalist Natasha Kaplinsky.

They understand the importance of good customer service and delivering the complete Christmas experience and so, in addition to a range of farm-growth trees, their festive shop also offers everything you need to decorate your tree and home.

 

Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm will be open every day from Friday 18th November until Christmas Eve (8am on Saturday and Sunday and 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday). Clive Collins is an expert grower with over 30 years’ experience in growing a wide range of tree species, including Norway Spruce, Nordmann Fir, Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir and Blue Spruce.

Between Friday 18th November and Sunday 27th November (daylight hours only) you can make the experience of choosing your tree extra special by going out onto the plantation to find the perfect tree. It will then be cut and, if required, delivered to your home in time for Christmas. Trees can be delivered to your door for just £13.50 to postcodes BN20-24, BN26-27, TN19, TN21, TN31-40, and we trim the butt upon delivery to ensure it lasts as long as possible.

 

25p from every tree sold at the farm will be donated to the local scouts’ group, who are in desperate need of funds.
