Cleankill Pest Control will be sponsoring the Chiddingstone Real Football charity event on Good Friday.
Chiddingstone, the Sevenoaks District of Kent, has been holding its real football tournament for the last eleven years (with two off because of the pandemic). It involves two teams, The Castle Crusaders and The Rock Inn Rollers – each with over 100 players – competing over fields and through rivers and woodland with the aim of getting the ball to their respective goal – a pub. The two pubs, The Castle Inn in Chiddingstone and The Rock Inn in Chiddingstone Hoath are situated roughly one mile apart. The event has very few rules and is a combination of football, rugby and wrestling.
Cleankill was founded on a commitment to give back to the communities in which it operates. Sponsoring this event is just the latest example of how that promise is being realised.
This year's Chiddingstone Real Football event will raise money for Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, Hospice In The Weald, and local food banks.
