Holland Harper sponsors Battle Bowls Club

Battle-based business Holland Harper is pleased to announce it will be sponsoring Battle Bowls Club once again this year.

It’s Holland Harper's third year sponsoring the local bowls club. Based on Battle’s High Street and positioned in the heart of the community, Holland Harper prides itself on supporting its town however it can.

LLP Member Roy Holland said: “As a business rooted in the heart of the town, we’re incredibly proud to continue our support of Battle Bowls Club for another year. Community is at the core of everything we do, and sponsoring a club that brings people together across generations reflects our values. It’s important to us to give back and play an active role in supporting the people and organisations that make our local area such a vibrant place to live and work”.

Battle Bowls Club was founded in 1905 and encourages bowlers of all skill levels to become members. The small club has around 50 members and has a club afternoon every week where anyone can partake in the sport and enjoy a social event with a hint of competition. For those aspiring to competitive bowls, members can join the league team. The season begins in April and this sponsorship not only helps with the day-to-day work at the club but also helps raise awareness of the sport.
